FROM I-459: Exit 6 and follow County Rd 52 East 3.8 miles. Turn right on County Rd 93. Continue for approximately .7 mile and you will see the Cherokee Campground sign on the left. Our office hours are 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Tuesday - Thursday, Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., 12 noon - 5 p.m. Saturday, and Closed Sunday (CALL FOR APPOINTMENT). (The office phones are transfered to a cell phone in case of emergencies.) We hope you plan to attend the church of your choice on Sunday mornings. FROM I-65: Exit 242 (large tanks on right) and travel .7 mile. Turn right on Highway 31 (Home Depot on right). Turn left at the next intersection/traffic light onto Shelby County Highway 52. Cross two sets of RR tracks. This section of Hwy 52 West is 2.2 miles. Turn left onto South 261 (Post Office and First Baptist Church, Helena) and travel .8 mile. Turn right again onto County Highway 52 West. Publix Supermarket is across Hwy 52 on the left. This section of Hwy 52 West is 4.3 miles. Turn left onto South 93 and travel .7 mile. Cherokee Campground is on the left. Our office hours are 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Tuesday - Thursday, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Friday, 12 noon.- 5 p.m. Saturday, and Closed Sunday (CALL FOR APPOINTMENT). We hope you take the opportunity to worship at the church of your choice each Sunday morning. We forward the office phones each Sunday morning in case of emergencies. You will be pleased to find that our campground is located 5 minutes from supermarkets, drug stores, and restaurants. You will have no trouble loading your car full of groceries, picking up a prescription, or taking in a meal at one of the many dining locations nearby. With such a variety of restaurants to choose from, even the pickiest eater will be easy to please. |

One of the nicest things about the Birmingham, Alabama area is the wonderful diversity of cultural and natural attractions. Located just 20 minutes from downtown Birmingham, you will have no trouble spending a day or two taking in the wonderful museums and attractions that this exciting city has to offer. |

After taking in some of our fascinating museums and attractions, be sure to make the short drive to visit some of our breathtaking State Parks. Nothing pleases the senses more than enjoying God's truly amazing great outdoors, and Alabama certainly has her share of beautiful places. |
